All downloads are from reliable sources, all the boot disks are standard boot floppy disks released by Microsoft or by OEMs. For some operating systems, the number of the boot disks is more than one. For example, Windows 2000 requires 4 floppy disks.
Make from Image:
You may use My Boot Disk software to create floppy disk from an disk image. If you want to access NTFS partition under DOS, you need a special utility called NTFS Reader. So you may download NTFS Reader Disk Image from the Internet, and choose “Make”->”Make from Image” to create the NTFS Reader Disk.
Install Repair Console: [Only available for Windows 2000 and Windows XP user]
You may install the repair console from your Microsoft Windows CD to your hard disk. When your system goes south, i.e. will not boot up or encounter system crash, you may boot your computer with your Repair Disk.
Generally, when Repair Disk is made, the Repair Console is automatically installed to your hard disk.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is a Boot Disk and what is a Repair Disk?
A boot disk contains the few essential files and programs your computer needs when it won't start due to a virus or corrupted files. While Repair Disks besides boot-up function, also enable you to work around system crash and fix file damage or even format a computer hard drive so that it will accept files needed to install a computer operating system.
My Boot Disk fails to boot up?
Please check whether you have set up the correct sequence of booting. If you want to boot from floppy, for some computers, you need to modify the boot sequence in your BIOS / CMOS. Also, you should make sure that the floppy you used is not a bad disk and does not contain bad sectors. This can be verified by performing a full format instead of a quick format.
Creating Repair Disk with your software, a Disk Full error appeared, why?
It seems that you inserted a non-empty floppy. Please insert an empty floppy disk and try again. Or you may format the non-empty floppy.
The Boot Disk and the Repair Disk contain no file after creation, why?
Important system boot-up files are hidden and you will not see any of them. Just boot your computer with the disk.
How can I access Windows 2000/XP NTFS partition with your Disk?
Boot Disk will only boot your computer to your operating system. In order to access Windows 2000/XP NTFS partition, there are two ways,
1. Make a Repair Disk under Windows 2000/XP, insert your Microsoft Windows CD as prompted. Boot your computer with the Repair Disk, and choose to boot from Windows 2000 Repair Console. With the console, simply type “Help”, you will find many useful commands that will troubleshoot your cases.
2. Download “NTFS Reader Boot Disk” from the Internet, with which you may access Windows 2000/XP NTFS partition under DOS session.
I want to re-flash my BIOS, which Disk should I choose?
Re-flashing BIOS is a dangerous task and you should choose the simplest Boot Disk. And please create the Boot Disk under Windows 98 or Windows ME. Windows 2000 Boot Disk will not allow accessing BIOS directly.
I am a Windows XP user and I can't see the use of your software.
You can make a boot floppy for Windows XP by right clicking on the floppy drive icon, selecting format, then placing a checkmark in the "Create an MS-DOS startup disk". This option, however, offers a false sense of security. Because the XP boot disk you created won't start your CD-ROM or access any drives formatted with XP's NTFS file system. Please use My Boot Disk software to create a Repair Disk with Repair Console included.
Successful Use Case
Rescue Windows XP after installing Windows 2000 into the same partition:
More often than not, we have the encountered the dilemma that after installing Windows 2000 into the same partition of Windows XP, Windows XP will not boot up to desktop, reporting that "HAL.DLL" error. It seems that Windows 2000 has overwritten some important boot files of Windows XP. We don't want to reinstall Windows 2000, since we have installed many applications and had sea of data stored there. How to solve this problem?
Find a computer that has Windows XP installed, use My BootDisk software to create a boot floppy disk, and then insert the created disk to your computer, your Windows XP will revive from the status of being seemingly dead. So If you want to boot to Windows 2000, remove the floppy disk, which means booting from your hard disk. If you want to boot to Windows XP, insert the floppy. Therefore, you will have dual fully functional operating systems installed in the same partition, which seems hopeless without the aid of My BootDisk.
Rescue Windows from a crash or damage:
Users who has created a Repair Disk with My BootDisk software will enjoy the benefit of fixing the crashed or damaged system with the floppy. All useful commands are listed in the next chapter.
Rescue Windows 2000/XP with a NTFS partition:
Usually we have to boot up with Microsoft Windows CD or use a set of 4 floppy disc to repair our crashed or damaged system, if your hard disk contains NTFS partition. However, with the help of My BootDisk, you may use only one floppy to boot to the Repair Console to do whatever you want to do.
Rescue Windows 95/98/Me from a boot type virus:
Some virus will modify your Windows 95/98/Me Boot Sector, and you will not be able to boot to your Windows. If you have ever created a Repair Disk with My BootDisk, just use our automatic "FixBoot" command to solve the problem.
Change Master Boot Record type:
Windows 95/98/Me and Windows 2000/XP have quite a different type of Master Boot Record. If you want to install Windows 95/98/Me to a partition that has been ever occupied by Windows 2000/XP, the setup procedure will not be smooth. Just use the created Repair Disk to troubleshoot it by executing the command "FixMBR".
Speed up the installation of any version of Microsoft Windows:
If you want to format your hard drive and reinstall your Windows 95/98/Me or Windows 2000/XP, don't forget to create a Boot Disk in advance, boot your PC with this floppy, you will enjoy the accelerated speed of installation, usually 4 or 12 times faster than booting directly with the Microsoft CD.
Rescue your Windows after installing Linux:
After the installation of some specific Linux systems, Windows 2000 and Windows XP will not work any more. Why? Windows system files are intact, yet the boot record and boot files are erased or modified. How to solve this problem. Use the created Boot Disk to boot to your Windows, and use the Repair Disk to solve your trouble.
Rescue your PC by creating a Repair Disk on other PC:
If your PC becomes stagnant, you might run My BootDisk software on another computer to create a Repair Disk or a Boot Disk for your PC. However, there is an assumption, that is, the two PCs must have the same operating system installed.
What if the PC have different operating sytems, you are suggested to use the "Download a Boot Disk from the Internet" function embedded in My BootDisk software. You might download any specific Windows operating system's standard Boot Disk ranging from MS-DOS 5.00 to Windows XP.
More successful use cases will be found out:
If you become a registered user of My BootDisk, you will find more successful and exciting use cases around you. Registration fee is USD 25 or EURO 25. After registration, you will enjoy free technical support and free upgrade, above all, My BootDisk will never expire.
