Hoy os traemos más mejoras para que nuestro blog esté cada día más en sintonía con nuestros lectores, en este caso se trata de una versión mejorada del sistema de karma de usuarios, con el que pretendemos reconocer las buenas aportaciones de los usuarios al blog, tanto en la calidad de dichas contribuciones, como en el nivel de actividad y de compromiso de los usuarios con la publicación.
La idea es premiar a los usuarios más comprometidos y activos, cuyas contribuciones aporten calidad al blog y su contenido, valorar la interacción con el blog y conseguir un sistema limpio y transparente, que sea además, robusto contra los usuarios con más cantidad de comentarios con puntuación negativa.
Así, para calcular el nuevo karma se tendrán en cuenta hasta 11 factores diferentes (sí parece esto el algoritmo de búsqueda de Google), divididos en tres categorias que, cada uno con un peso relativo, se transformaran en el karma de usuario:
Los factores clave a la hora de calcular el karma de un usuario son los votos a los comentarios del usuario, el número de usuarios que lo hayan añadido como experto o la participación en los comentaros del blog y, a continuación, el resto de factores por igual.
Un karma que podreis consultar ahora de 2 formas: por un lado, a través de las estrellas como hemos hecho hasta ahora; y por otro, a través de un nuevo valor numérico entre 1 y 100 correspondiente, que se va a mostrar en vuestra página de usuario.
La equivalencia entre estrellas y puntos de karma será la siguiente:
- 1 estrella -> de 0 a 20 puntos
- 2 estrellas -> de 21 a 40 puntos
- 3 estrellas -> de 41 a 60 puntos
- 4 estrellas -> de 61 a 80 puntos
- 5 estrellas -> de 81 a 100 puntos
Por último, si tenéis buen karma, no os preocupéis, ya que la transición no supondrá la pérdida de karma de ningún usuario para empezar de nuevo, simplemente se actualizará al nuevo sistema.

No podré negar que la mayoría que escriben es porque realmente le gusta pero todos sabemos que hay más gente que ve las mismas opiniones. Un método muy aplicado en distintos ámbitos es el incentivo, de ahí mi opinión positiva... Como en todo habrá detractores.
Por ejemplo, es un sistema muy aplicado a la nueva tendencia de videojuegos online con el sistema de "logros" o, si nos estrapolamos a la realidad, tenemos incluso en la sanidad los incentivos al personal sanitario por el cumplimiento de una serie de objetivos previamente establecidos. Se puede sacar más punta a los detalles pero a grosso modo vienen a realizar la misma función: incentivar a la gente a participar.
